Agricultural roots. An enterprising outlook.
Adrian Marsh has developed through work on the land, investment in machinery and premises, and a willingness to take the next step. Agriculture remains central to the business, alongside trading and commercial services that extend beyond the farm.
Today, we are building on those foundations as we develop new business interests. Our approach remains straightforward: understand the work, invest with care and build relationships for the long term.

The foundations
of the business.
The company’s story reaches back to the agricultural work that came before its formation. Experience in the field was followed by investment in equipment and a base from which the business could develop.
Early experience
Founder Adrian Marsh began working in agriculture at 16. Those early years gave the developing business its grounding in the demands of farm work.
Investment in machinery
At 19, investment in a tractor and machinery marked the next step. Equipment of his own provided the means to develop the agricultural contracting work.
A working base
The purchase of his first farmyard at 25 established a working base for the business and marked a lasting investment in its future.
Formation of the company
The formation of Adrian Marsh Ltd in 1998 marked a new stage in that development, building on the experience and investment of the earlier years.
The business today.
Agricultural contracting and supplies remain at the centre of Adrian Marsh. Alongside work on the land, the business supplies materials and supports commercial premises through winter and site services. This breadth of activity connects farming with the needs of other businesses through the working year.
The next stage builds on that established work. We are developing new business interests with their own identities, while continuing the agricultural operations our customers know. Across the business, the aim remains the same: practical decisions, considered investment and straightforward relationships.
